Sergio Basteri (Born January 12, 1984) is a Mexican celebrity popularly known as the brother of Luis Miguel,  a well-known Mexican Singer.

Luis Miguel also known as El Sol de Mexico (The Sun of Mexico). He has been known for singing multiple genres including pop songs, belros, tangos, jazz, mariachi, and big band.

His is father  Luisito Rey was a Spanish singer while his mother Marcela Basteri was an Italian actress. Sergio has two brothers namely Alejandro and Luis Miguel.

Sergio Basteri graduated at the Autonomous University of Guadalajare where he studied Visual Arts. After graduating, He started his career by teaching photography and organizing cooking classes.
