Early Life And Education

Bekah Grace was born in pettisville, Ohio in 2000. She currently reside in South bend, Indiana, United States with her brothers: Caleb Liechty, a musician and instrumentalist and Joshua Liechty, an Artist, Lyricist and maker, who are also the members of the band.

She is the daughter of Chris Liechty and Holly Liechty She is the last child out of 3 kids. She attended a homeschool before joining a public school with her brothers.

On the other hand, they joined the theater and enrolled in a piano class and learnt other instruments as well. Bekah Grace started singing at very young age with her brothers.

Her brothers graduated form the Pettisville college school before they set up their band, Girl named Tom.

Although, they wanted to become doctors but things changed when their father was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. So they took the other path just to spend more time with him.

Bekah Grace started her music career after she finished her High school education in 2019. The band was formed in the same year with her two brothers. At the first 12 months of the band, they had toured across the country, performed 67shows in 27 American cities. They are the contestants on the Voice season 21 show.

The band named was framed by the three kin triplet as ,Girl named Tom, which was coined from “Thomas” as Grace’s nickname when she was a baby.

They auditioned for Voice season 21, where they played “Helplessly Hoping” and wowed the four adjudicators but picked Kelly Clarkson as their band coach. Their band is also known as Team Kelly Clarkson band.

During the battles, the band performed so many music like: “The seven bridge road” to reach the knockout stage, “Wichita lineman” at the knockout stage, “Creep” at the liveplayoffs stage, “Dust in the wind” for top 13, “More hearts than mine” by Ingrid Andress, for top 11 and  were saved by the public votes.

They performed “Viva la Vida” which took them to semifinals and played the “Rivers” by Joni Mitchell at the semi finals and finally appeared in the season finals.
