Revamp Strategy Centers on Directly Assisting Client Sales and Service
Insurance agency McGriff, a retail broker, has announced a restructuring of its individual lines division.
The reason for this change is to strengthen the department by giving private client sales and service more direct assistance. After a time of rapid expansion and increased profitability, the division has made this decision.
The corporation has announced a new organisational structure that will place the supervision of the private client sales and service team under a select group of seasoned personal lines leaders. This shift in focus is an effort to better meet the specific requirements of the private client market through individualised service.
According to Crystal Sanderson, McGriff’s national director of small business and personal lines, “this new structure will allow for even more personalised attention on the unique needs of our private client segment,” beginning with training and onboarding and continuing with sales coaching and cross-sell collaboration. It’s prudent to take use of the leaders’ accumulated wisdom and expertise.
McGriff has formed a new team of regional sales leaders to increase revenue and profit in their areas. These sales managers will oversee a team of private client advisors while continuing to focus on their own client base and sales. They’ll be working under Jerry Elliott, the private client sales director.
The top sellers are:
- Marc Ricciardi: sales leader for South Carolina
- Sean VerLee: sales leader for Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee
- Jerry Elliott: sales Leader for Florida and Interim Sales Leader for Georgia, Virginia, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York
- Ed Castner: sports and entertainment practice leader
- Kent Morris: family office practice leader
Leaders in customer service include:
- Duane Dahlheimer: client service leader for North Carolina
- Sandra Frazier: client service leader for South Carolina
- Cheryl Greely: client service leader for Georgia and Arkansas
- Missy Jacobs: client service leader for Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Maryland
- Heather Smith: client Service Leader for Florida
McGriff has engaged three new client service managers for its personal lines division as part of the reorganisation. To improve customer service throughout the company, these professionals will collaborate closely with client service leaders. Kasey Robertson, who was already managing client services for California, is now a part of the team.
Newly hired to manage client relations are:
- Lisa Buffington: client service manager for Georgia
- Rhonda Russell: client service manager for South Carolina
- Karen Thorne: client service manager for Virginia
Jimmy Conroy has been named vice president and marketing account executive for McGriff’s energy practise, while Rodney Ledford has been named strategic growth officer for McGriff’s small business and personal lines division, both of which were announced last month.
