Personalised service continues under new leadership after nearly 40 years.
Inszone Insurance Services, a broking specialising in commercial, personal, and benefits insurance, has announced that it has acquired LIA Texas, LLC, commonly referred to as Lyon’s Insurance Agency.
The Dallas-based firm has been in business for almost 40 years, during which time it has established a solid reputation for providing individualised service with an emphasis on surety bonds and artisan contractors.
Bobby and Emma Lyons formed LIA Texas, LLC in 1984. Before co-founding the firm with Bobby, Emma Lyons started her insurance career in 1973 as an underwriter at a captive agency. She then moved into management and sales.
According to Inszone, the firm provided customised solutions for both individual and business clients by combining Bobby’s experience in commercial insurance for Fortune 500 businesses with Emma’s knowledge of personal lines.

Finding a partner that shared their commitment to individualised client care was the basis for the agency’s sale, according to Emma Lyons.

Through this acquisition, Inszone bolsters its position in Texas, providing customers with more resources and a wider range of providers. According to the business, Lyon’s Insurance Agency customers will have a smooth transition and will still have access to customised insurance options.
Inszone Insurance Services also mentioned that it intends to make more acquisitions soon as part of its objective to broaden its reach and improve service delivery across the country.
