Megan McClellan (shown above) has been named Southeast Zone leader by insurance broker and risk advisor Marsh. McClellan will be based in Washington, D.C., and will report to Pat Donnelly, Marsh’s president of the United States and Canada.

McClellan will be in charge of Marsh’s eight offices in the Southeast of the United States in her new position. Her responsibilities will include client management, new business development, and talent development in the region.

McClellan has over a decade of insurance brokerage expertise and has held numerous leadership positions within Marsh’s US Financial and Professional Liability (FINPRO) department. She was named Southeast Zone sales leader in 2019. McClellan previously worked as an attorney representing insurance carriers in situations involving directors’ and officers’ liability insurance and general liability insurance.

“Megan is an exceptional client advocate with a proven track record of driving growth and delivering innovative solutions,” added Donnelly. “With her guidance, our Southeast Zone will be well-positioned to assist our clients in navigating today’s challenging risk landscape.”

“I am excited to work closely with Marsh’s talented team across the Southeast to foster innovation and provide tailored solutions that address our clients’ evolving risk challenges,” McClellan said.

Stockholders re-elected Marsh parent firm Marsh McClennan’s board of directors last month. Marsh McClennan also just published a report on the company’s ESG operations.
