AXA XL instals global innovation lead

 

Exec previously led the P&C business innovation centre for AXA Next

Dan Bendavid has been named global lead for innovation at AXA XL, as part of the operations and technology team. Bendavid will oversee the division for innovation strategy and manage a worldwide team of specialists to lead the implementation of new projects in collaboration with other enterprises and collaborators in this new job.

Bendavid previously worked for parent company AXA on strategic initiatives such as the group digital strategy for operations and services. He has led projects in Spain and Italy before directing general insurance claims operations in seven Asian Pacific nations. He then joined AXA Next, where he oversaw the P&C business innovation center. Prior to joining AXA, he worked as a senior engagement manager at McKinsey & Company in Paris.

Bendavid has a master’s degree in management information systems, finance, and marketing from the CentraleSupélec in France, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Bendavid’s past experience with AXA and work at AXA Next, according to AXA XL chief innovation, data, and analytics officer Ashok Krishnan, have positioned him admirably in this new post.

AXA XL also appointed Trevor Gandy as global head of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
